Dear parents,
I hope you are well and enjoying your time at home! We really don’t want to burden you with extra amounts of work and stress logging and submitted work online, after today’s session myself and Ustadah Bourke understand some of you had some trouble submitting work, do not worry or stress this is a new experience/trial for all of us!
To get the most out of your time home-schooling the children I thought it would be best to have some sort of timetable at home to help with routine, it’s really important to have children involved in the making of this timetable it gives them a sense of ownership and pride. I will make a sample timetable for you guys below (as an example) by no means is this compulsory for you guys!

Having a routine is really important for young children but equally as important is the fact that we should keep our homes a ‘safe place’ it wouldn’t be healthy to try to replicate a school day at home because it’s a totally different environment, there are different boundaries and rules at home compared to school… and quite frankly children behave very differently at home compared to school!
I’ve attached a link below to a useful blog that has a free downloadable template, and plenty of links to online resources for children to use: stuckathomeschool.com/blog-2/
InshaAllah I really hope this helps, if you need any help or advice please do not hesitate to contact myself or Ustadah Bourke.
We hope you have a lovely evening,
Ustadah Yousef/Ustadah Bourke
