Reception Newsletter Summer 2 2020  IQRA VA School Logo AsSalamuAlaykum all, Ustadh Khan and the Reception team are happy to welcome all the parents and children to the start of the new academic year. This term, the topic will be ‘Minibeasts’ (All about me). The topic will cover all seven areas of learning required in the EYFS curriculum: Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Communication and Language, Reading and Writing, Expressive Arts and Design, Mathematics and Understanding of the World. The book is a fun, factual book about minibeasts and their habitats.  Children will interact with the book through games relating to the story, making cardboard models of and learning the names of different minibeasts.  The children will have access to a variety of fiction and nonfiction books which will allow them to engage in further conversations about minibeasts and their environment. How You Can Help
