This term, year 4 pupils were both nervous but also very excited about using Crumble technology. We first began by identifying the components and how we can use them for projects. Having already done similar activities during the electricity topics most pupils were familiar with some of the rules of building circuits. Connect metal parts, make sure batteries are working and other rules came rushing back into our heads.

Crumle also uses a block programming tool similar to Scratch 2.0.  Pupils used this to programme the lights to turn on and off in blue and red to replicate a police car. However, bulding the police car propopsed quite a challenge to most but with the help of their class mates they managed to complete the project.
