As part of Art Wek, we have been exploring our Islamic identities and what it means to be a muslim. The children looked at the 5 pillars of Islam and their relevance in our lives.

 

Following this the children made their own pieces of artwork inspired by their Islamic identities. Their cutting and sticking skills came into play as they produced their own collages. 

In the build up to Eid Al-Adha the children learnt about Hajj, its significance and the story behind. Many of the pieces of art produced were inspired by this.
