The Reception class has been enthusiastically exploring various subjects. They’ve been delving into the topic of seasons, recently focusing on autumn. During a school ground excursion, the children keenly identified signs of autumn, noting that many trees have shed their leaves, displaying vibrant colors. They collected some leaves and creatively fashioned them into crowns.

Additionally, the class has completed their ‘Talk for Writing’ story map, encouraging the children to become authors by modifying story elements like characters and settings. The progress in their phonics knowledge is remarkable, evident in their improved writing and reading skills. Moreover, they’re excelling in mathematics, having learned about 2D shapes and their distinct properties.”
