Year 4 visited the Science Museum on Monday 13th November as part of their enrichment activities for their science lessons. We visited many exhibitions in the museum that included; Secret life at the home, Space exploration, Technology through time and their favourite; WonderLab ! The children had fun learning about technologies in the past. They were especially fascinated with the winding telephone where they realized it took a while to dial 999. The WonderLab was filled woth many practical and fun activities which included, forces, electricity and sliding down different materials to experience how friction affects the speed of them sliding down. Apparently, the smooth stone and wood was a lot faster than the grass slide. After the fun but tiring trip there were a few sleepy heads on the journey back. Year 4 really enjoyed their trip !
