Year 2 then had the opportunity to unleash their creativity and imagination by stepping into the role of illustrators. Inspired by Karin Littlewood’s ‘Immi’, they crafted story necklaces, each drawing a symbol of their narrative. As the day progressed, Year 2 practised their storytelling skills, using their story necklaces as prompts for oral rehearsals.

Year 2 was enthused with lots of fun and learning with World Book Day activities. From completing necklace stories to crafting book-themed bookmarks, the day was filled with creativity and imagination.
