Year 2 Workshop - please donate
Our Year 2 class have been learning about Hot and Cold climates in Geography. To support this topic a very interesting workshop entitled ‘Crossing Continents and Oceans’ has been organised. The school will have a visitor come into school and the children will have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities related to the climates.
The workshop is subsidised but we ask for a small donation to be made via the Parent Pay website by Friday the 4th of December.

Message from the Head teacher
Assalam u alikum everyone!
I hope you are enjoying our newly designed newsletter and are keeping informed!
Insha’Allah, we will be coming out of the second lockdown next week and as the government announced yesterday, all the 32 London boroughs will be placed under tier 2 restrictions. Could I please remind parents to continue to practice social distancing and wear a mask as these two measures reduce the chances of catching the virus significantly.
May I say how proud I am of our entire school community as everyone has taken such a positive approach in these very difficult times. Our religion gives us the greatest reassurance that there is ease after every hardship. May Allah continue to protect us and keep us safe. Insha’Allah, these very challenging circumstances will end eventually. Let’s continue to be each other’s support and ensure that the entire community is safe by adhering to the safety measures that have been put in place.
Our very first virtual parents’ evenings are going to be held next week!
Please make sure that you don’t forget your appointment. Please check the device that you will be using for the meeting and have your child with you when speaking to the child’s teacher. Our children have done incredibly well since their return in September and this is clearly evidenced in their work. We also know that they are very happy to come to school as we greet them at the school gates every morning. Children keep smiling! We are continuing to make sure that through our robust pastoral care the children are well-supported emotionally. We are blessed with an amazing team of teachers and support staff who are trying their best to educate our children and keeping them safe.
Juma’ Mubarak and have a wonderful weekend.
