To celebrate the month of Ramadan, we at Iqra have been looking at different aspects of Islam in all lessons.
In English, we wrote an acrostic poem on Asma Bint Abu Bakr. In Art, we have been exploring Arabic calligraphy.
So this term children have been using Purple Mash to look at different parts of Ramadan. Some children made an information leaflet about Ramadan. Other children made a poster about trying to give up bad habits in this month. One group of children planned a meal for Iftar (the evening meal that Muslims eat when they break their fast each night of Ramadan.) The last group created a card to celebrate Eid.
