If you go down to the woods-you may see Year 6!

Year 6 had the opportunity to visit Clapham Common  to take part in Forest School activities.

First,  we discussed the types of habitats that animals live in and how we could use the natural materials and the trees to recreate an animal habitat.

The children had some amazing ideas and quickly set off in their groups to find the materials they needed. All the groups thought through their ideas and began to build their animal habitat.  It was great to see them working together and talking about their ideas; a real team building event.

The children produced squirrel dreys, bird houses and even a beavers burrow.

I was a cold day but the children had lots of fun!
