Year 5 had the opportunity to become crime scene investigators, on Science day, during the ‘Hands on science’ Workshop. Year 5 found out how the police lift fingerprints at the scene of a crime. Children of Year 5 were very enthusiastic and excited to use the ‘special powder’ and see the technique used so that they can try it out at home. The children also printed their thumb and index finger prints on a special paper and used a magnifying glass to see the difference.
