Citizens UK
We have a long and happy association with Citizens UK which allows our children to showcase their faith, as well as their talents, in the context of an inclusive organisation who do so much to promote community cohesion, tolerance and understanding.
Their mission, of which we are proud to be a part, states that
"Citizens UK is the UK’s biggest, most diverse, and most effective people-powered alliance.
We’re here to overcome injustice. We’re bringing together everyday people and local organisations to build a better, fairer society. Together, we're making change on the issues that matter, from campaigning for zebra crossings on dangerous roads, to reforming the immigration system, to the Living Wage campaign."
The latest event our pupils attended was the South London Citizens Assembly, on October 21st 2025.
Our Year 5 pupils have performed beautifully at St George’s Catholic Cathedral as part of a very special event. This was a tremendous honour for the school and its community and a testament to the dedication, talent, and hard work of our children.
This was not the first time our pupils have showcased their talent. We are proud of our pupils and the effort they’ve put into rehearsals. They were so excited and ready to share their nasheed, “One Voice, One Light” (A nasheed for justice and unity) with a wider audience, and they represented our school with excellence. It was an inspiring performance.
