PSHCE

Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE)
PSHCE helps to provide students with knowledge, skills and understanding to prepare them to play a full and active part in society. Through practical learning, students acquire and develop skills and knowledge that support them in making a contribution to their school, local and wider community.
Building students’ self-confidence, autonomy and independence enables them to have a voice and maximise their social and economic opportunities in adult life. This includes our active school council, with an annual opportunity to experience a real election process for the student Councillors, as well as lessons that enable pupils to understand their emotions, relationships and changes that happen to our bodies as we grow.
